Ahok to Inaugurate Djarot at City Hall

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama revealed that he had received Presidential Decree on inauguration for Djarot Saiful Hidayat as Vice Jakarta Governor that was already signed by President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo.

I've received the presidential decree this morning. So, I decided to inaugurate Mr. Djarot on Wednesday at 2 PM

 

The inauguration itself will be held on Wednesday (12/17). "I've received the presidential decree this morning. So, I decided to inaugurate Mr. Djarot on Wednesday at 2 PM," expressed Ahok, Monday (12/15).

Djarot: City Officials Mindset Must Be Changed

 

In accordance with government regulation in lieu of law No. 1/2014 on Regional Head Election, vice governor inauguration is scheduled to be done by Jakarta Governor, thus it does not need approval from Legislative City Council (DPRD).

 

"I will do inauguration at City Hall," he exclaimed.
